Milgate Compensation Scheme: Former clients suffering losses from the conduct of Darwin real estate agent invited to apply

The NT Government Gazette has published a notice inviting claims from "any persons entitled to apply for compensation under Part XIl of the Act in respect of losses resulting from the conduct of Suzanne Lee Milgate or Milgate Real Estate Pty Ltd."

Milgate had her real estate license revoked from 31 January 2024.

NT Consumer Affairs issued a public warning that Milgate was still "presenting and practicing as a licensed real estate agent" on 24 February 2024.

Milgate has an alleged assault case against former NT Chief Minister Natasha Fyles currently being heard through the Darwin local court system, famously dubbed by a local award winning journalist as "The Crepes of Wrath".

Former clients or business associates who believe they have a claim are encouraged contact Associations and Compliance at the Department of Trade, Business
and Asian Relations.

Phone: 1800 193 111 or email: Registrar.AgentsLicensing@nt.gov.au

People with experiences are encouraged to contact this publication to have your voice heard.
