A taxi driver's pin number has been suspended, after allegations of driving passengers while intoxicated reached his employer Darwin Radio Taxis.
It's unclear at this stage whether a blood alcohol reading was acquired by authorities, or the number of passengers affected by the allegations.
The Mango Inquirer contacted both an MVR compliance officer and manager at the company, but we were unable to ascertain further information at this stage.
In the commercial passenger vehicle compliance guidelines of the NT, a "record of complaints history" can affect a driver's ability to be fit and proper to hold a CPV.
More information if it becomes available.
We are The Mango Inquirer.
