A seven-minute video of a group trying to retrieve their boat from the water at a Top End boat ramp has been published online via Facebook page @darwin_shark_fish.
Together with rolling commentary, the video follows a Good Samaritan's efforts to assist a trio of strangers, before he's knocked into the water where he injures his knee.
His partner shared online: "My boyfriend so kindly went on the boat to help, and drove it [the boat] back to the boat ramp.
"He then gets on the trailer and starts tying the boat up on the trailer.
"This [allegedly] drunken idiot who was the third person must of took his foot off the car, and the car rolls back making my boyfriend fall of into the water.
"He couldn't move as he f*cked his knee and we had the ambulance come.
"Before the ambulance they decided to try get there boat on the trailer as they [allegedly] wanted to leave before police came.
"The lady had the smartest ass mouth on her.
"She goes and [allegedly] says 'you better not of scratched the painting on my boat'."
"The police had arrived and they went to see how intoxicated they were.
"One then got arrested and [allegedly] resisted.
"The men were yelling and the next man got arrested for [allegedly] being smart to the cops.
"Shame on these people. I got so upset my boyfriend was starting to work soon and now he can't."
