A banned reader has accused The Mango Inquirer of denying their “freedom of expression” in a ‘sooking’ anonymous email.
If you’ve been blocked from The Mango Inquirer, you’re usually welcome back.
You just gotta ask. Eat humble pie. I don’t even require an ounce of regret, to be honest.
Can’t help if I don’t know who ya are.
I’d go even further, suggesting I don’t think I’ve ever left someone banned who reached out directly or through a friend, to be unblocked.
I have however re-banned some, after returning to their old tricks a few months later.
When most get their walking papers, they know and they don’t even bother asking.
People forget they don’t have a birth right to comment on the Mango.
But like I’ve indicated, second and third chances are a thing.
You don’t get banned “for not agreeing”; a sad fallacy proven by the mix of views on any given post; most of which I “don’t agree with” anyway.
You get banned when the threshold of offensive or racist conduct is reached; you’ve plainly made something up, or taken a particularly personal attack on Mango.
That’s not freedom of expression. That’s being a prick, and there’s only enough room for one of those around here.
We are The Mango Inquirer.
