An arrest warrant has been issued after a man facing an arson charge didn't hand himself back in after an agreement for release on funeral bail.
In Mango's two months of reporting from court room one, I haven't come across a case of someone not returning from funeral bail, but that's not to say it doesn't happen regularly.
I do see funeral bail refused more often than granted, but it is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Jaragba was listed on charges of 'Arson' and 'Damage To Property' this morning.
A second funeral this Thursday has been provided as a potential reason by Jaragba's lawyer on why he didn't return, although it was unclear if he'd spoken with him direct.
The judge had commented on the situation that it "really ruins it for others."
